New Buffalo, Michigan is located at the mouth of the Galien River on the Southeastern shore of Lake Michigan – five miles north of the Indiana border. It is commonly associated with neighboring communities of Grand Beach, Michiana, Union Pier, Lakeside, Sawyer and Harbert.
