Benton Harbor, MI

Benton Harbor is northern half of the "twin cities" of St, Joseph - Benton Harbor. The area is well-rooted in agricultural and industry. In the 1930's, the Benton Harbor Fruit Market was the largest cash-to-grower non-citrus fruit market in the world. This heritage is reflected in the Blossomtime Festival, the oldest multi-community festival in Michigan. Whirpool Coporation also calls Benton Harbor home.

The Emerging downtown arts and shopping district is home to to Galleria del Corazon, studio of renown sculptor Richard Hunt and the Water Street Glassworks, whose lead instructor, Jerry Catania, learned glassblowing under Dale Chihuly.

Benton Harbor is also known for the House of David, America's third oldest Christian communal society and their famous baseball team.
